With a little bit of imagination :) Wreck located outside Strömstad, Sweden Medins Biologi searches after King Karl XII sunken fleet outside Stromstad. We have now located the first wreck on the seafloor. The wreckage was detected by high resolution side scan sonar (pictured). We have confirmed the finding utilising a drop camera and have found cannons and a variety of cannonballs on the seabed off Stromstad. The project continues and is conducted in close collaboration with the Museum of Bohuslän, Strömstads museum, Strömstads Historical Association and the County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland.
