With a tune that will stick with you today I am continuing my presentation of the ABCs of the Golden Decade of Music 1965-1974, where I am selecting the artists alphabetically and playing selections of their songs I liked or found influential from that Golden Decade. I am currently in the Cs and will play another from Petula Clark. Once known as the First Lady of the British Invasion she sold more than 68 million records throughout her career. The next song of Pet Clark’s selected is My Love, another song written by Tony Hatch. My Love was recorded at Western Studios and featured the backing of the Wrecking Crew with the song reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on February 5, 1966, making her the first British female to have two US #1 hits. https://youtube/watch?v=wSvZHy02SsQ
