With all of the important and serious conversation about SWEENEY TODD, let’s also remember that theatre can entertain. Since very few people saw the film JERSEY GIRL, they’re probably unfamiliar with this SWEENEY sequence, with Ben Affleck as the demon barber. I share this only so that we might all smile amid our earnest and worthy efforts on behalf of a challenging arts program at Timberlane High.
