With all of the negative press West Africa is getting over Ebola, stories such as Fatu Kekulas are especially heartwarming. When her father fell ill with Ebola in Liberia, she took him to three clinics that refused to take him because of lack of room. Fatu ended up returning with her father home. Shortly afterward, four other family members caught the disease from the Dad. But rather than giving up, Fatu, who is a nursing student, ended up turning her home into a quarantine center, nursing her dad, sister, and mother back to full health. Of her major accomplishment, Fatus dad said, I am very much proud of Fatu Kekula for the work that she did through the power of Almighty God. Whats one of the many lessons? Africans cant afford to give up, and when we continue to have faith and do our best, we can persevere. What a woman Fatu is!!!
