With all of the recent craziness with ISIS I have been thinking of Danny Pearl quite a bit lately. Before he went to London and then to the Middle East he was the telecomm/technology reporter for the Wall Street Journal. A nicer, kinder, funnier, more compassionate and concerned soul you have never met. Now, I know those arent terms we often use when referring to reporters, but I swear they all are appropriate. Tomorrow would have been Dannys 51st birthday. Raise a glass in a toast to his memory and listen to some great music in his honor. And remember that when those murderers kidnap and kill journalists they are killing somebodys father, son, husband and friend...
