With all of these Police Killings happening across the nation at the moment, I am feeling the need to say something in here. Thankfully, this is a good community with an excellent Police presence. I am not a Policeman, but a recently retired Infantry Soldier who is thankful that I have been able to return to my own land and not have to see a community in a bad way. For these things I am grateful. And I suspect that our Police and community servants play a huge role in these things. If you agree, please let it be known to them that you appreciate them. It isnt just specifically about their role in engaging with criminal elements, but the fact that they will be typically the first to respond to all emergencies and are the type of people who would give their lives to pull a citizen from a burning wreckage. I know how it feels to be in the midst of people who hate you although you wish to better their lives. Show love to those who care enough about you to dedicate their lives to showing it with their efforts. Even with just a small gesture of respect. Its the least we can do for these Heroes...
