With all the Government Sign-Ups happening, I figured I would pop in and drop dime on my experience with the TSA PreCheck.... After watching people by-pass a one hour line at 6am in PHX, I decided it was worth the investment.... This process took me 15 minutes online to pre-register, less than 10 minutes at the TSA signup station and I now have my Known Traveler Number in less than a week.....I did have a friend recommend doing the Global TSA PreCheck, just in case you take that once in a lifetime trip to Iceland.....I am not a paid spokesman, I dont get anything for this, but if you travel even just a bit, this seems the way to go.... no more undressing in the TSA line, no more waiting for the chick with the hip knee-high laced leather boots to ask the TSA guy do I have to take off these boots too?, no more waiting for the dude who refuses to check his obviously too large carry-on and argues with TSA about jamming it through the screener.....the list is endless....anyway, just my Friendly Friday Pay it Forward! tsa.gov/tsa-precheck
