With all the cool stuff I got to be part of last night, I know the best aspect is all the absolutely, wonderful people I got to share that performance with. I couldnt have selected better cohorts. A huge thank you to you all! While thinking about the shear talent they posses, it reminded me of everybody else I get to perform with in other art forms. Improv comedy and dance. And how fortunate I am to enjoy those times with them. Just a few short years ago, I would have never considered doing the things I do now. (Horse head pics for example;) ) I was quiet, and more introverted then not. Except.....I made a choice. It was small. But all the same its had tremendous results I would never have thought would come about. I choose to do something different. Thats it. I decided that I wanted to do something different in my life. I was tired of doing and thinking the same things. I selected something Id never have done before due to the life Id constructed. Something that was far and removed from all the years of vert skating. Dance. And I enjoyed the hell out of it! From there I just kept opening myself up to new things. Egoscue physical therapy, improv comedy, aerials. The forming of my life coaching and hypnosis business, Select Performance. A place where I can help others make these changes even faster then I did. People are surprised when I mention different aspects of my life. In reality, theyre not that different. They are all opportunities for me to meet and share the special qualities we all have inside of us. And by making one small choice. Selecting to open up to new experiences. I get to share some of the most personal parts of people. Expressing the talents that they otherwise would have kept hidden. To finish this I just want to repeat one thing.
