With all the loss and destruction we cause to each other due to religion, fight for power/control or to win the whose horse is bigger contest, why cant we just take a step back and see that were human? It doesnt matter what color, shape, size or what language we speak, we all bleed when wounded, we all hurt. So, why cant we all just get along? Today is the 13th anniversary of that tragic day when we lost so many due to senseless acts of violence. Our planet has seen so much blood shed from us fighting against each other that #PrayingForPeace sometimes seem pointless. Well #NeverForget what happened 13 years ago but it should serve as a reminder that this violence will only lead to more violence. Maybe its wishful thinking but I hope that we can move forward to embrace our fellow earthlings in a new era of peace. Were different but yet were all the same. So, why cant we all just get along? *End of rant* Rest in peace to those who lost their lives (civilians and our service members) and my positive thoughts are with the families who will continue to try to make sense of it all.
