With all the mishaps and unfortunate turn of events in Liberia, there are still people, who believe in reaching out to others, for some of these people nothing can ever serve as an impediment to empowerment and self-growth. On July 13, 2014, the Business Start-Up Center Monrovia took up a task to travel to Sanniquellie, Nimba County, to conduct business development training for 21 entrepreneurs that were selected by the Literacy & Training for Employment Program (LTEP). These entrepreneurs were selected from three Counties, Nimba, Bong, and Lofa, with the intention of making them much more marketable, and or efficient, in their businesses. The five (5) days training, with intense attention and participation, from both the Trainers (Jeremie Carson and Joshua P. Beware) and the participants started on July 14 and lasted up to July 19 2014. At the end, it was clearly recognizable that the time and effort that were invested in the training paid off, giving the fact that each of the 21 participants acquired new skills or ideas that they were going to apply on their return to their counties.
