With all the various posts about some of the old buildings and shops that are no longer there or so very changed from what they looked like back in the 60s in Preston, I thought I would ask does anyone remember Thursday Half Day Closing in Preston? This photo is of me taken in 1968 when I worked in Boots Chemist on Fishergate. Notice the sign above my head? This photo brings back some happy memories. I dont know why I left Boots to go work in M&S across the road later that same year, as I loved that job! I used to know lots about cameras working on the Photographic counter in those days.
