With another semi busy day in full swing, Rescue 4 and Medic 48 were out the door again. This afternoon Company 4 was alerted to the 61 mile marker on the Pennsylvania Turnpike for a vehicle accident with entrapment. Crews arrived on scene to find one vehicle slightly over the hillside with one still inside. As R4 stabilized the vehicle and prepared an extrication plan, M48 initiated patient care. Crews worked together to extricate the patient and returned to service a short time after. Responding units: R4, M48, C42, E51.
