With everything that is going on with Penelope Stepp and her babies, I sometimes find fear creeping in and I try to put up walls. I know many of you involved in rescue do the same thing when you see a sick or older dog. We try to protect our hearts by not allowing ourselves to fall in love. (Or at least we try) I have posted this song before but I hope someone will see it and it will encourage you to open your hearts and love without abandon despite the danger that comes from adoring someone so fragile.
