With gentleness and respect...with Gentleness and respect. Scriptures also tell us there are times we must preach boldly and always truthfully, so manytimes it will be offensive. The cross is an offense to the perishing! But do it with compassion and gentleness and respect. Temper it with total awareness but by the grace of God you too would be perishing! In your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.
