With great disappointment, I am again sorry to say that IGmund had another grand mall this morning. It seems as though he may have to go on an anti convulsive medication, even though we are trying to hold off during the Prednisone taper down, which will be a couple of months yet. I am in contact with his Veterinarian, and am grateful they are short and recovery time very minimal. We are not yet sure if these are caused by the elevated liver enzymes from the auto immune meds, or if it is epilepsy of unknown etiology. Being he had the episodes before the meds began, and that epilepsy is very common in our breed gene pool- surfacing typically at around age 3 (maturity).... it is most likely epilepsy. The elevated enzymes are most likely aggravating them to be more frequent. So how was YOUR morning?!
