With great suffering ... some people try to cut themselves off from everyone and try to deny they are in pain , this stage is Denial. Even though people know that they are in pain they dont accept it. When they accept it , with Acceptance there comes the strength to go past pain and live life again. When people accept they are in pain , others will come and help them go past this pain.
