With husband Charles (Peewee) still prepping for surgery. Many have asked… peewee is having a mediastinoscopy this morning. Thats a biopsy on the lymph nodes at the center of the chest. He was diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this month. They also note some activity/ enlargement of the lymph nodes. Were hoping maybe theyre just inflamed. If there is cancer in lymph nodes, there wont be any more surgery. If there is NOT Cancer in lymph nodes, they may proceed with a VATS wedge resection of the right lower lung. (Partial removal) .
