With immense sadness I Love Bali Dogs has to announce the death of Billy (photo 1), son of Ibu Doggy, living in the Kerobokan area. The 6 month old pup was found poisoned early this morning in front of his familys entrance. Thankfully Franci found all the other dogs cared for by us in the area including his mum Doggy safe. The families in the area are already cautious and keep the dogs safe and locked inside at night. A few hours later, while continuing her dog feeding tour in the Demak area of Denpasar, Franci found our 2 year old Blacky I (photo 2) missing. He went out yesterday into the nextdoor rice field and hasnt returned. Blacky I and his twin brother Blacky II, both welcomed in the yard of a local family, were rescued from a garbage dump 2 years ago and have never missed one Francis meals. We are still hopeful that Blacky I will return home to his inseparable twin Blacky II. We are told that there are many other poisoning cases during these last few days in different areas. Please always inform and report any poisonings or suspicious behavior to BAWA.
