With movies like The Expendables and #Red doing so well, and movies like #Elysium doing so poorly, it makes you wonder. Is there a void waiting to be filled by the next action star, or do the baby boomers have that big of an effect on Hollywood? Looking at his previous record, you could argue that Matt Damon just had one bad movie. But when you think that Bruce Willis, Sly Stallone, and even Clint Eastwood are still making action movies (if you consider Grand Torino an action movie). I do think that there will always be a market for old guys beating up on young guys. I guess the bottom line is no matter what chapter you are in life, you want to believe that you can still clean house if you have to. What do you guys think?
