With only two days left until our Central Region 5k in Grant Park, we hope that a) the weather improves a little bit, and b) youll read on for some very important information and tips for the event. * There are multiple events taking place in and around the area of Grant Park on Saturday, so please plan your trip accordingly. * We strongly encourage all participants and spectators to take public transportation whenever possible. CTAs Trip Planner can help! Traffic is expected to be heavy and parking may be difficult. * All participants will be responsible for arranging and paying for their own parking. GOTRC is not providing any paid parking for the event. * We recommend you arrive on site at least an hour before your start time. Please be sure to include time to walk from either CTA, RTA or parking lots. In some cases, there may be 6-8 blocks to walk before arriving on site. * Only authorized GOTRC busses will be allowed on site, and there are no drop-off points near the site where girls will be allowed to exit their cars while parents go and park.
