With peace and blessings, Noran and I welcome you all to this page. We are two undergraduate students who have been sponsored by the Sadie Nash Leadership Project in New York City as Ella Baker fellows for our “AMiRA” project. Noran is studying political science and women’s studies at Drew University and I am studying Business and Psychology at Rutgers University. This page will act as a space for Muslim Women to raise their voices and thoughts on feminist issues. This is not a space to discuss principles of Islam or make any judgments, but rather serve as a platform for healthy and necessary discussions. Allies are welcome to join in these discussions, but will not be allowed in any circumstance to speak over Muslim women. Within a few months, we will be organizing workshops, lectures, and events in the NYC and North Jersey area and hope you can grace us with your revolutionary energy.
