With people filling the internet with cellphone films today, THIS was revolutionary in the 1920s. The PATHEX Motion Picture Camera. According to this piece, the film cost was $1.75 each, with free developing. In some locations it would be developed, returned and ready for viewing in 24 hours. (In the 1920s, $1.75 could buy a lot of groceries and other basics, so not exactly cheap, but perfect for people with the income.) This film is the introduction of the camera, showing how easy to use. People did have to learn how to expose their own film, according to light condition. Something people today are really loosing out on, in understand lighting. But what amazing item for people in the 1920s. I think more amazing, since this was one of the earlier film cameras for everyone to use.
