With reference to the comments made by a respected QC, and in light of the latest outrage committed by Better Together?..NO THANKS!!! ... U KOK!!, I Just sent this E Mail to my MP Gemma Doyle.......... Dear Madam, It has come to my attention that Her Majestys Government has been issuing Information Packs to serving members of Her Majestys Armed Forces, instructing them how to vote in the upcoming Referendum on Scottish Independence, I have also been reliably informed that the Officer Corps, has also received instructions to instruct their subordinates, to vote NO in said upcoming referendum As a very proud Ex Serviceman, I know this to be contrary, to several Queens Regulations, covering things such as Politics in the Armed Services, Maintenance of Good Order and Bringing The Service into disrepute. I trust as my MP and as a Labour Spokesperson on Defence Issues, that you will take this up in the first instance, with the Minister concerned, and in the second in the House as this is contrary to Democracy and the Non Political nature of Her Majestys Armed Forces. I also draw your attention, to the despicable handbill, a copy of which is attached, published by the Better Together campaign sullying the sacred memory of my fallen comrades, extolling people to vote no because my fallen comrades, died for your country . I feel it is inappropriate for them to use the memory of our Fallen Heroes to try to Garner support for the very System that caused their deaths in illegal wars. I therefore call upon you to use what influence you have to get Better Together to withdraw these posters, and censure the people who were distributing them and make a public apology to all our Servicemen and Women and the families of the fallen and maimed. Yours Sincerely Ray W Edmiston RAF
