With regards to the timing problem with the STX group at the - TopicsExpress

With regards to the timing problem with the STX group at the JaxSolo Event #3. After further investigation with the timers, the event officials and working personnel, here is what we believe happened with the incorrect timing. It looks as if the Gainesville EMT person left the port-o-potty and ran across the timing lights at 60.910 in Kenneths run. The timers caught the problem and red flagged the course and started to get the people affected called in for reruns. With all the confusion, the run of 60.910 did not look unreasonable overall, although now with looking at previous runs and car setup, we know it was unreasonable for that particular car and driver. Since it didnt look out of place at the time, he was not labeled in the computer for a rerun thinking they had fixed all that were affected. We apologize for the mistake and confusion again. We are going to add 10 sec to the number 26 BRZ giving him a best run of 70.910 as that is the closest we can estimate based on his previous runs and his setup. That will bump the 718 STX BRZ piloted by Chris Hammer to first place in STX as well as he will take home the trophy for Street Touring. We are having a trophy made and sent directly to him. With these changes it also means there was a new event PAX winner ... Mr Nelson Antunes in the Honda Civic with a Pax time of 51.035. Congratz to the winners.
