With summer coming to a close, we have modified the schedule to allow for our new sports programming and have updated the class schedule to accommodate our families. Colleyville Speed & Sports Performance Now Enrolling These classes are for Athletes and Parents looking for tangible and measurable changes in their young athletes performance. Each Class is Designated for 1.5hrs (630pm-8pm) The Schedule as follows: Mondays and Wednesdays: Ages 6-12 Tuesdays and Thursdays: Ages 13- and Up Each Class will include * Speed Warm-up * Stretch * Speed Drills * Agility Drills * Post Workout Stretch * Weight Training - Before or After Speed/Agility/Plyos There are 4 phases of training that will encompass the training program: each phase will have a primary focus for the entire month. Plyometric, Explosive and Impulse Training- If you want to increase your power and explosiveness, this cycle is for you! These exercises teach the body to utilize the elastic principles of the muscles and increase neural impulse speed through trained activation, all while reducing the risk of soft tissue injury. Includes training for the upper and lower body along with pictures and descriptions of each exercise Speed Training - This program provides anyone with a proper speed training progression that consists of running mechanics and technique drills. The cycles will encompass resistive running drills, free running for acceleration and top end speed, and over-speed drills that will focus on neural impulse speed and physiological adaptation. Agility Training - Are you trying to develop your sport specific quickness? This cycle specifically focuses on the central nervous system to enhance change of direction, acceleration and deceleration while providing you with the proper progression of drills based on your sport and level of training. Core Training- A strong core is an extremely important characteristic of any athlete. It is the center for most body movements, allowing effective transfer of power from the upper and lower extremities and is necessary for increasing your speed, agility, overall strength, explosiveness, and coordination. Results will be measured at the beginning of each Phase. Measurables: Applicable to Athletes 6-12. Vertical Jump Broad Jump 5-10-5 300yd Shuttle Pushups performed in time specified Pullups performed in time specified Situps performed in time specified Mile Time Applicable to Athletes 13 and Up Vertical Jump Broad Jump 5-10-5 300yd Shuttle Bench Press Max Squat Max Deadlift Max Oh Press Max Pricing is 10 sessions for $250.00 or Membership for $200.00/ month CrossFit Colleyville Schedule New Morning Schedule Classes will continue to run from 5am and every hour until last morning class ends at 10am. 10am-11 and 11am-12pm are currently being cancelled until demand is consistent (this applies to Monday-Friday). Saturday Hours remain the same. 530am HIIT Class - New Start time of 515am starts Monday August 25th.
