With temperatures in the west of NSW expected to reach the mid-40s - TopicsExpress

With temperatures in the west of NSW expected to reach the mid-40s tomorrow, we urge you all to take precautions to beat the heat. Temperatures west of the Great Dividing Range are predicted by the Bureau of Meteorology to exceed 40 degrees Celsius and could reach as high as 45 degrees in the north-west of the state. While coastal areas are expected to be cooler, temperatures in Sydney’s west are predicted to reach up to 40 degrees. Hot weather can easily lead to heat exhaustion and become life threatening. It is important that you regularly drink small amounts of water and stay out of the sun to avoid heat stroke. Those most at risk include the young, elderly and chronically ill so please look out for your loved ones too.
