Marquez can match or surpass the record for wins (12), poles (12) and points in a season (383) before the campaign comes to a close. Meanwhile, teammate Dani Pedrosa remains in a tight fight for second place, level on points with Valentino Rossi and with a 3-point lead over Jorge Lorenzo.
