With the State Election now called for 31 January I am getting a lot of questions about being able to vote before the day (as people are going to be working, away etc). The Electoral Commission of Queensland offers a couple of options - including Postal Voting and Pre-Poll Voting. Applications for postal votes are now open (see here for more: https://apps.ecq.qld.gov.au/declarationvoting/default.aspx) And Pre-Poll voting starts on Monday 19th January.
