With the current upsurge of crimes with bandits armed and reiteration to police arrest. The police need to seek better means of combating crime than head on collision that is claiming lives of civilians like the woman at mathare who passed on. Proper measures of intelligence conducted by both the CID as well as the intelligence service needs to do a study of the psychological problems involving the criminals as well as doing criminal profiling in order to establish who the criminals are instead of shooting suspects. This is where my concern is they should arrest criminals a their lives. This is because by shooting them it increases the bad spirit where criminals have the slogan " If i do not fall by their bullet they they shall fall by my bullet" capturing the suspects will help unmask their dens and ease of eradication of criminal activities. That is my take as a civilian. May God bless Kenya.
