With the doctors switching to IV pain meds, Ryan’s pain has been decreasing. However, since he is now on the Nubain he isn’t allowed off the floor or attend school. He was extremely upset about this considering last time he was on this pain med he was allowed off the floor and to attend school. Those small activities helped Ryan be distracted from his pain and really helped him focus on other things besides being in the hospital. The transplant team from the University of Penn are coming back tomorrow to discuss information with me since I decided to go home for two days to be with my other children. Ryan would like to thank Mrs. Sorrentino & the staff of VMES for the amazing basket filled with Legos, cards, and a T-shirt. Also, Oliva M for the cool dancing/singing skeleton & Nerf gun! And to Ryan’s boyscout pack for the huge card & shirt. AND to Bearable Bears all the way from the UK for the turtle
