With the event looming, preparation is paramount... GRILL - Heat grill to medium heat. Grill dogs 7 to 9 min or until heated through, turning occasionally. When the dogs are done on the grill, remove them all at once. Doing so will ensure more consistent results and helps avoid overcooking. STOVE TOP - Add up to 3 dogs to saucepan of boiling water depending on size. Return to boil; cover. Remove from heat; let stand 7 min. or until dogs are heated through. MICROWAVE - Place 1 dog on paper towel. Microwave on HIGH 15 to 20 minutes, or until heated through. BAKE - Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with aluminium foil. Place up to 3 dogs on cookie sheet. Bake 10 min, or until heated through, turning occasionally. BROIL - Set oven to broil setting. Line cookie sheet with aluminium foil. Place up to 3 dogs on cookie sheet. Place dogs into oven on the top shelf. Broil 10 min. or until dogs start to brown and are heated through, turning occasionally. GENERAL TIPS - Do not puncture dogs when cooking. The juices will run out, resulting in a tough and dry dog. Dogs are a good item to freeze for up to 3 months. With most standard cooking methods, the dogs can go straight from the freezer to the pot or grill. Dogs are subject to all kinds of toppings and regional twists. That’s why they’re perfect for a casual backyard cookout. Have fun, set up a condiment bar so everyone can dress up their dogs to their liking.
