With the first game under our belt I must say I am proud of every single one of our players! Our Mighty Mites started the day off with a win against the Red Bluff Jr. Spartan team. Some great tackles and amazing defense with several scores. The Jr. Pee Wee team fought a hard battle against the only team to boast a win over the Jr. Eagles Jr. Pee Wee team. In a close back and forth battle the Jr. Spartans took the win. The boys played a great game but were simply out scored today. Next up the Pee Wee team came out fighting. Great attitudes and a ton of heart were seen on the field today but the Spartans came to play as well. As Red Bluff took the win I saw some disappointment from our boys. DONT BE DISCOURAGED!!! The improvements this team has made in the past few weeks have been amazing. Keep trying and keep up the great work. The Jr. Midget Eagles took the field next and were shut out by the Red Bluff team. There were some amazing offensive plays leading drives down the field. The defense came out aggressively and fought hard. At the end of the game the Spartans left with another win. Starting into the season with the title of Division Champions from 2013 our Midget boys rocked The Pasture. Allowing just one touchdown by the Red Bluff team the Midgets took another win with a score of 37 to 6! Boasting with a kick return resulting in a touchdown and a pick six these boys were showing their stuff today. Not to forget our hard working Cheerleaders keeping the spirits up all day. Looking sharp out there girls!!! So very proud of all of YOU!!!
