With the pizza and skillet cookie in mind, I visited Sweet Affairs yesterday after a long long time. I found new additions in their menu which i had not seen before. Soups, Salads, Sliders and so on. We ordered Quinoa and Chicken Salad, Fishermans Soup, the usual Super Brick Oven Pizza and The Skillet Cookie. The Quinoa salad was light, refreshing and full of flavour. A big thumbs up! Fishermans Soup was also a great addition. Flavour wise the soup is spot on. Gentle acidity of the soup met well with the lovely shrimps inside. Up next came the Super Brick Oven Pizza. I always prefer the thin crust. Juicy chicken pieces, mushrooms, bell pepper and cheese. Not overdone with toppings, not underdone either. The Skillet cookie i felt has somewhat changed. It felt a lot more cakey and floury rather than being like a cookie. But overall it tasted really nice with Vanilla and Nutella gelato. Their service is worth a mention. At the end they gave us free chocolate for posting a check in on our facebook profile. That was a nice touch also. Sweet affairs is a great place to be in my books at least. And its great to see that they have made new additions into their menu to attract new customers as well as excite the regulars! Good Job Team Sweet Affairs!
