With the retirement yesterday of James Harrison, I want to look - TopicsExpress

With the retirement yesterday of James Harrison, I want to look back on his remarkable Steeler career. Heres a guy who at first was a walk on from Kent State with the Steelers and was cut not once not twice but 3 TIMES by them and STILL kept on working hard til he finally made the team. James was nothing short of a force to be reckoned with on the Steelers DL for years making big play after big play whether it be a sack, batted down pass,or nailing an enemy RB from behind the line of scrimmage. But of course the signature play of his career was none other than his goal line interception in the Super Bowl that he took to the house the other way 100 yds to turn what seemed to be a sure TD by Arizona into a game changing play. Without that play the Steelers dont win that game.Still runs chills down my spine every time I watch it.Thanks James for one hell of a career here and I hope it leads to Canton but not sure there.Right now we sure as hell can use a player like that on this DL.
