With the singularity comes a time when advanced AI will continue to improve itself, acting as mankinds last invention. If its also true that one day, our minds may merge with these artificial super-beings, and well more or less become them, how will their (our) self-evolution bring gain to society? Interlacing these two entities would eliminate the prospect of achieving great things without having to work.
