With the temperatures at an all time high, our summer humanitarian outreach program is in full swing. As many of you know, each summer we give out cold bottled water to the people who are waiting outside of the Saint Francis Inn to get inside to eat a meal. While standing outside in these extreme temperatures people are at risk of severe medical issues. The least that we can do is to offer them a drink while they wait to receive one of their only meals of the day. If you would like to donate to our annual outreach project, please let me know. I will gladly except donations of cases of water. I can fit 3 cases of water in my refrigerator at one time at that still isnt enough to reach everyone at times. My stock pile is currently down to 7 cases at the moment. I have depleted my monetary donations towards the water and will be going to buy more tomorrow with the donations that I receive from tonights meditation event.
