With the upcoming Holiday Season, here are some tips in how to stay calm, centered and relaxed: 1. Honor yourself Try to take 5 - 10 minutes a day for yourself. I love to take some time in the morning to focus and set my intention for the day. 2. Exercise Go for a run, or walk. Exercise helps to reduce stress and improves your self-esteem. Not to mention prepares you not to gain the extra few pounds during the holiday season. 3. Stay true to yourself. With the busy Holiday Season, there is always something or someone that needs attention or help. Make sure you step back and stay true to yourself. Listen if you need to attend that Holiday Party, or get together. If it feels right go for it if not, try to compromise or dont go at all. 4. Breathe Consciously, practice breathing exercises. You can visualize inhaling the gold through your nose, spreading throughout your body ( gold represents the divine, and divine guidance) and exhale anything that is negative through your mouth. Very powerful exercise. 5. Give back It isnt all about how much you spent or how much you get. Give back. Invite a friend for dinner, or help out in the soup kitchen, organize a food drive or simple enjoy a game night in with your loved ones. Giving back makes you feel grateful and happy. At last, enjoy and be merry!
