With the usage of African fabric to my mind comes great responsibility. Life is not a race, I chose to create and develop a business my way. Independently, knowing that the end result has some meaning. Fashion comes and goes, my responsibility is broader, my responsibility is not just about clothes - its about a message. Others can do as others wish, but I understand the cloth, the meanings, gestures and culture. When dealing with Africa - the topic is not SELF, The topic is SELFLESS. When I look at the the things I am creating for next season, I feel a sense of detachment? Because, I know in the end what I am aiming to do is not about me. I chose to remove all the old work from this page, to signal that we are moving forward. My mission is for Africa - I dont run from it, hide from it or try to obscure it. Things happen at the right time, do not fall to the pressures around you, understand your value and why you are going through a particular process. Understand that we can achieve what is needed and we can succeed to unite everybody, when we are confident with ourselves and comfortable with what we do.
