With the votes counted and Confirmed , Scotland having reached its goal of a fair democratic process. Through this test of human collective decision , what can be grasped from it all? Allowing the people to decide on the future of Scotland as a people has shown that UK may be far from united, but also that they are far from fragmented . Through it all we can still see the cracks and holes created by the Westminster system . with this , Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom of Great Britain can adapt and change to the sorely needed reassessment of who we are as a people, as a country, as a reason of fair democratic collective process , on a mass scale . What can Bermuda learn from this , with its relationship to the UK , our own local governance , and the people who represent us ? Will we ever grasp the true power and freedom of the human choice ? Will our leaders, instead of step up , step back for a moment? And truly let the people vote on something that doesnt have a name , or a party label, or any strings attached . Or a price tag . The price of moral choice reaches much farther than any parliament building across the waters can pay . We should take our energy and truly focus on our constitution , our process , our legal/illegal infrastructure . And for once , flip a coin . For each side of that coin is still the same island . Just a different reality . youtube/watch?v=v6pcE74SUC4
