With the welcome sunshine & spring in the air, Conny & I had a short ride up Fletchers, down through the bush & back to the yard, yesterday, on Shaula & Sutra. Both girls were feeling Sooo gooood! A brisk trot from the yard, up Fletchers to the hairpin bend (about 2km), then Shaula just couldnt contain herself any longer. To be honest neither could I. I gave her, her head & into Pocket Rocket mode we went for the last km to the top, leaving big strong Sutra flat footed. With sheer guts, detemination & stamina, little Shaula reached the crest of the hill, leaving Sutra in her wake. Letting the girls have a 5 min munch at the top both had a sparkle in their eye & a silly horsey grin on their faces, while they munched contentedly.
