With the wind up this afternoon we decided to go exploring some of the creeks in search of a few Australian Bass. Armed with the iPad & Google maps we identified a few tracks leading down to the water that would be worth checking out. Our first location we spotted a small school of fish in a narrow creek only a few meters wide & barely a meter deep. After only a few casts we had our first hook up. We ended up landing 4 small Bass & dropping a decent sized fish right at the bank. Hopefully next time we will find somewhere to launch the kayaks for a better look.
