With very mixed emotions, it’s time to make an important post….. We want to thank all of our wonderful customers and friends and wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. As many of you will know, Greens has been up for sale for a few months and we can now announce that we have found some lovely new owners who are so looking forward to meeting you all! In the past five years Aron, Carla and I have been lucky enough to have met some amazing people here at Greens. Carla even met Ant, her future husband while working here! We have laughed, we have cried (usually from laughing!), we have sung and we have danced. We’ve shared the joy of many (many, many!) of your pregnancies, bumps and babies. You all know how I love nothing more than a cuddle with a newborn! During a nativity service at Monkfield Park Primary school a couple of weeks ago I got so emotional seeing those beautiful little faces singing their hearts out. I recognized many of them from when they were tiny toddlers, and I realized that I was sad that we won’t see them grow as we have over the last five years….. Thank you for sharing your family’s special times with us. We even met our best friends….. Greg & Lisa. xx We’ve been blessed with some incredible staff who helped us in those early (mad!) days and stuck with the many changes we’ve gone through. We thank you all. You are more amazing than you will ever know. Zac, Ella and Keely will remain here as part of the new team and will ensure your drinks are just as great as they’ve always been. We look forward to being customers of Greens – we’ll just have to remember to pay for our coffees now! We couldn’t be happier to be handing over our baby to the very capable hands of Dan & Debs who also run Burwash Manor tearooms – so they definitely know how to look after you all. We hope that you will join us in wishing them every success with their new adventure. They are your new Mrs & Mrs Green! We shall lock up for the last time on Christmas eve at 3pm. Your new owners will be opening those doors on Monday 29th December. Do come along and say hello and support them, they are lovely people! Thank you to every single one of you who have supported us from the start, we have been so touched by your support and messages of kindness recently. Five years ago we thought that we were launching a business, but it turned out to be much, much more than that. We have very special memories. Thank you all. Merry Christmas Julie & Aron Green
