Within minutes of the blast my dad and others left surgery and waded in rubble and debris trying to help anyone they could get to. Within hours my mom was working nonstop shifts taking in the victims at the hospital, for weeks I was driving with units back and forth, walking, digging through a war zone. The day it happened I was at work in a small town a couple of hours away when two guys walked in asking if we could give them a cold drink and let them use the restrooms. We all thought they seemed a bit off, too nervous, one never spoke a word, then that night the sketches were released and we were calling each other asking if they looked like those guys who passed through. What would have been different if we had the information sooner? anything, nothing? All I know, is that one sketch did match the guy caught and convicted for the April 19th bombing, the other guy was not the man who came in with him. It was all so needless, such a hateful action with no purpose other than to create pain and chaos.
