Within our community we have an amazing Group and Family in #Whatsapp. The support group in whatsapp is where we always meet talk about everything to do with #Diabetes On Saturday we had a simple mission: Meet, walk to Kenyatta National Hospital and talk to folks who have been admitted due to Diabetes related complications. At KNH we went up to 7th Floor and met caring Nurses who were morr than happy to see us and we were directed to some of the people we share the same condition. They couldnt hide their Joy and happiness seeing us, sharing our experiences, our ups and downs and above all we were a source of hope showing the world you can be diabetic and live a normal life. One gentleman on level 7 was skeptical if indeed we were diabetic (The bright faces and jovial mood from us I guess was too much) and we took into our bags and pockets to show him the medication abd insulin we keep to use. It was a great day and we are grateful to this community and #whatspp Family. You guys are amazing and the change agents the world needs. You need not be a millionaire to do great things. You only need a great heart♡♡♡♥
