Without God you cant make sense of anything. Atheists try to, but in order to make sense they have to borrow from the Christian worldview. How so? They have to assume the validity of the laws of logic with which they argue that they cannot justify them in their atheism. They have no objective moral standard though they try to invent to escape their own self refuting subjectivism. They cant see that they cant see. 1 Cor. 2:14, But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. And, Romans 1:28, And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper.
