Without good direction, people lose their way; the more wise counsel you follow, the better your chances. It is quite easy to keep our plans to ourselves when we want to because it suits our purposes. While ever we choose to listen only to our own counsel the potential for only listening to only what we want to hear and error is always possible. Seeking the thoughts and opinions of trusted friends, family members, or colleagues can be a great protection for us from this and save us from future heartache. The advice of others needs to be weighed up too but having an openness to others can give us access to wise counsel which admittedly at times may make us think again. Or on the other hand it may confirm and encourage us that our thinking is on the right track. May you know the wise counsel of others as a blessing for you. Pete.
