Without objects we can never explain phenomena. The Rock Starz of Phizicks move energy and carry a charge. They think that a field is a what instead of a where; a wave is an object instead of what an object is doing. At RSM we understand that any phenomenon requires at least two objects: The dog walked down the street. The objects are street and dog. The phiz Whiz will tell you that the walk is still there after the dog has moved on to the next street. It is critical in physics to describe, illustrate, photograph or sculpt the objects in ones hypothesis before there can be any theory. There may be fields of wheat, or amber waves of grain, but it is the wheat which is doing the waving.
