Without pointing fingers or placing blame, for one reason or another at 9:10am this morning as we were about to leave I received a call from the radiation department letting me know Kiley has her 1st appointment with them tomorrow morning at 9:30am and not today. We found this extremely odd, and frustrating, seeing as we had just spent all day Wednesday in clinic getting a blood transfusion to get her Hgb count up high enough to start treatment this morning. But.... Onward and upward. As tempting as it was to stay aggravated about the last minute change, and despite Kileys stomach issues that kept her home from school, overall she felt great and had a fun-filled day, and who can complain about that??
