Without question I support the work of Mr. Theo Miller but, what I question is the political will of City Hall which insist upon using tax breaks to allow billion dollar corporation to escape paying their fair share of taxes as they nickel and dime the rest of us. This actually promote the inequality we see in the Black community and other communities in the City since low/mod income folks are ask to pay more to live here while these corporation get away with paying less. Case in point, the $25 million tax break that has been given to AirBNB that the Mayor just signed into law today. This money could be used to fund many of the initiatives and/or establish a budget for the things that are talked about in this article. We need to ensure that the words and actions of the Mayor are consistent with each other!
