Without sentiment, i wish to state that president Goodluck jonathan is really insensitive to the exploitation that we undergo as a result of our overdependence on the developed countries. Even the countries that were not developed became developed as soon as they exploited us. The president of Nigeria must learn how to look inwardly nd make use of the enormous human resources in Nigeria nd diversify the economy of Nigeria as a way of liberating the country from its monolithic economic stand instead of borrowing from other countries. The recent bilateral relationship entered into by Goodluck jonathan with the Chinese president, Xi Jinping and the loan he borrowed should be carefully followed, so that we wunt experience another economic imperialism which we went through under colonial era. We must not forget so soon that China is the second largest economy of the world after USA but is still a developing nation whose economy has been predicted to over-ride that of the US come 2020. So, China is determined and ready to achieve this through any means at their disposal. Nigeria must not fall prey to the antics of China towards attaining a developed status. Nigeria is a great nation, blessed with both human and material resources. Let us borrow the Japanese model of development. Let us go back to the agricultural base.
